The process

From setup to scan in four simple steps

CareTags are designed to be simple. You choose a tag, add the information you want to share, attach it, and it is ready to help.

Choose the right CareTag

Pick the format that suits the use case. Pendant cards and wristbands work well for people. Iron-on patches are useful for clothing. Stickers are ideal for wallets, phones, tablets and bags. Pet tags are designed for collars.

Add your contact information

Simply scan the tag, and login to CareTags web app to add the details you want someone to see. This might be a phone number, email address, short message, emergency contact or helpful note. No apps. No QR codes. No batteries. No subscriptions.

Attach, wear or carry it

Place the CareTag where it is most likely to be useful. Attach it to a collar, add it to clothing, place it on a phone case, keep it in a wallet, or wear it as a pendant or wristband.

Someone taps it with a smartphone

If help is needed, the person scanning simply taps the CareTag with a compatible smartphone. The contact details open in their browser, with no app required.
